“People say there’s delays on flights. Delays, really? New York to California in five hours, that used to take 30 years, a bunch of people used to die on the way there, have a baby, you would end up with a whole different group of people by the time you got there.
“Now you watch a movie and [go to the toilet] and you’re home.” — Louis C.K., comedian
Yup – I had a flight delay today. Not bad. The incoming flight was late by 15 minutes, and then they had issues with the ramp so moved us all to a new gate. We were about an hour and a half late getting in the air. I love the quote I found . . . sure puts things in perspective eh? At any rate, I used the extra time to take a few pictures with my iPad, and then play around with a couple of the Apps. Photoshop Touch and another one I just discovered called PhotoPad. They do similar but different things. I just played around till I got something I kind of liked. Anyhow . . . I enjoyed taking advantage of the extra down time . . . something I’ve not had much of lately. So really, I was not inconvenienced by the delay at all. My husband was – on the other end waiting to pick me up . . . but that worked out ok too! Technology sure helps us keep others in the loop! We didn’t have that 30 years ago . . .

I shot this with my husbands iPad as baby and I sat watching Bubble Guppies on my iPad before bedtime. I realized I had not taken my 365 Self Portrait for the day yet. The baby had not slept well the last couple of nights, which means of course that I got little sleep as well. I am absolutely exhausted sitting here with her. However, as tired as I am I cherish any and all moments I have with her, as I will be taking her home on the 16th. Five days away! Yikes! I emailed the image to myself and processed it with Photoshop Touch on my iPad after she went to bed. The fuzziness is about how I was feeling at the time!
“Most action is based on redemption and revenge, and that’s a formula. Moby Dick was formula. It’s how you get to the conclusion that makes it interesting.” Sylvester Stallone
Today was a SLOTH kind of day. After all the busi-ness off the last month or so since MIL fell and broke her hip – it was heaven to just do nothing. So I did something I seldom do – I curled up on the couch with my warm socks and blanket (it was a very cold and wet day), and my iPad. These two photos are again the result of playing around with the PhotoShop Touch App. It’s growing on me! Can you guess what show I’m watching?? Love this guy!
“All my fans tell me what a glamorous life I have, but I tell them how hard I work and how many nights I spend alone with my dogs, eating chicken pot pie in my bedroom.” Shannen Doherty
Finally home, with CostCo Chicken Pot Pie in the oven for dinner. It’s all I have the energy for tonight. Decided to take this shot with my iPad, and fiddled again with PhotoShop Touch App while watching TV and catching up on Survivor. (Yep – HUGE Survivor Fan!)
