“Other people and things can stop you temporarily. You’re the only one who can do it permanently.”
~Zig Ziglar~
Today was moving day. We moved MIL from the Surgical Floor – a very sad and depressing place where she was surrounded by helplessness and misery – to the Rehab Floor. Wow! What a difference! The Rehab floor has been rehabilitated itself! Everything looks very new, bright, spacious and fresh. Plus she’s in a room with big bright windows and a view of Mount Baker in the distance. Her spirits lifted within minutes of arriving on this floor. She will stay here until they feel that she is able to manage on her own at home. It’s a huge relief to have this support for her finally. It’s just a shame she had to break her hip to get it. She is a very determined soul though . . . she will not be down for long.
