“Every man’s work, whether it be literature or music or pictures or anything else, is always a portrait of himself, and the more he tries to conceal himself the more clearly will his character appear in spite of him.” Samuel Butler
Decided to take a “shot” at really showing myself in my self portrait today. Think it turned out not so bad.

Like it! Also like the rough wood you’re leaning against, and the colour co-ordination…
We’re doing similar things, only I wish I had a camera to take shots of the inside of my head… be easier than trying to find the thousand words… 🙂

Thanks so much . . . some days I’m not so sure getting a picture of the inside of my head is such a great idea . . . I know what you mean tho!

Very nice photo! I admire you for having the guts to do a 365 self portrait challenge! Seems SCARY to me! I’m much more comfortable behind the camera! 🙂

Thanks! It is taking alot for me to get in front of the camera! I’m hoping to learn alot from it, both personally and professionally!

Great self-portrait…I too would rather be behind the camera most days…or at least partially obscured as in so many of your self-portraits.
