Oops!! I dropped my camera lens first on the tile floor in my kitchen today! Ouch! All I can say is . . . thank goodness for protective lens filters . . .
I guess the morale of this story is always make sure you are wearing protection!

I actually tried taking a couple of pictures with the broken filter on just to see what would happen. I was surprised that the pic with the broken filter was more vibrant, the one with the broken filter was more washed out. You can not see any of the broken filter though as it’s essentially invisible due to the depth of field.
